Arthur J. Obolsky manages his own law practice and is Of Counsel to de Castro, P.C. Mr. Obolsky practices Tax and Business Law, specializing in tax controversy matters.  He advises and represents individuals and business entities involved in various Federal and California tax disputes.  Mr. Obolsky also counsels clients with business matters, providing tax planning advice with regard to entity formation, asset transfers, and a variety of business transactions. He also handles Probate litigation and Trust and Estate administration. 

Mr. Obolsky earned his bachelor’s degree at Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business, and his law degree at University of San Diego School of Law, where he was a board member of the San Diego Law Review. 

Mr. Obolsky gained extensive litigation experience as a clerk to the Deputy Chief of the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office - Southern District of California.  Before starting his own practice, Mr. Obolsky worked at Higgs Fletcher & Mack, LLP. At Higgs, he had the privilege of working on complex tax controversies alongside one of the best Tax Litigators in the field.

Mr. Obolsky is admitted to practice law in the State of California and before the United States Tax Court. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Lawyers Club of San Diego.

He is fluent in Russian and speaks conversational Spanish
